“I wanted to bring out the delicate yet powerful essence of the feather by choosing soft, earthy tones with hints of golden brown and charcoal black. The colors were carefully chosen and mixed using my hand-made pigment, Marshall Fire #1, to create a sense of warmth and natural elegance. Using a light brushstroke technique, I allowed the colors to transition smoothly, adding small splatters and drips that invite you to feel a deeper connection. My focus was on capturing an element of foresight and inner strength, reflected in the gentle curves and dynamic lines within the feather's form.”
