Feather # 285 — Turkey

“In this painting, I used the hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #5 to create a soothing blend of earthy tones, with soft browns, subtle blacks, and gentle cream hues. My brushstrokes move like delicate whispers, exploring thin, feather-like textures that bleed into lighter edges, while the slightly splattered droplets add an organic touch. As I painted, I felt a sense of nurturing, a silent harmony emerging from the natural world around me, celebrating the cycles and relationships in life.”
