“In this piece, I used my handmade Moab Pigment #1 to create a delicate balance of warm oranges and muted grays, capturing the essence of both strength and subtlety. I enjoyed letting the pigments flow with light, fluid brushstrokes to form the feather, with its edges gently splattered and softly blurred, which brought a sense of movement and grace. As I painted, I felt a quiet confidence emerge, knowing each layer was a step toward revealing a hidden resilience and inner bravery.”
