“I used Rocky Mountain #6, my hand-made pigment, to create this piece, letting the earthy tones settle with subtle transitions from deep, sturdy shades to soft, gentle hues. As I painted the feather, I focused on smooth edges and delicate layers, allowing drips and splatters to naturally accentuate its form. Through this, I wanted to illustrate strength and calm, capturing a sense of enduring grace and quiet beauty.”
