The moose as a spirit animal represents pride, strength, and confidence. The moose can guide you through your life to allow you to get through difficult moments with ease. You're strong and confident no matter what happens to you, and no matter how threatening your opponents might seem. I've been fortunate to witness this magnificent creature at a very close range, luckily with no drama. When I am graced with these moments I take that as a gift from nature and in return, I secretly agree to paint that animal. I am so grateful for Mark for allowing me to use his incredible reference photo. My mouth actually dropped when I saw this photo for the first time.
This original watercolor is 48" x 36". The Saunders Waterford 140# watercolor paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
